Our run specific strength programing is tailored for high school and collegiate runners. Two, 5-week blocks meeting 2x/week at our state of the art Training Center at 165 McCaslin Blvd in Louisville, CO.
Running specific strength class will be centered around developing strength, stability, control, and power specifically for the cross country and track and field athlete. Increasing strength and stability helps reduce risk of injury and increase running economy to boost performance! Increasing control and power helps increase speed to boost performance. Athletes will be initially tested in balance, power, and strength to measure success throughout the course. The goal of each class is for the athletes to leave feeling physically challenged, not physically drained. Having a program designed around the demands of off-season training will help athletes reach their potentials without the risk of overtraining. Add running specific strength training to your program to reach your goals for the upcoming season!
$220 per block, or $198 if registering for Block 1 & 2

Our adult group strength training class is designed to help you develop strength, prevent injury, and move better!
Located at our Training Center at 165 McCaslin Blvd in Louisville, CO.
Each class is designed to help build strength, stability, mobility, and balance. Perfect for marathoners, triathletes, weekend warriors, and busy, active professionals to maintain a healthy body and proper movement patterns. Each class will have a combination of mobility/balance exercises, strength exercises, and power movements with the goal of building lean strength and control. Every member will be tested in balance and strength at the beginning to check for progress by the end of each section. Balance and strength have both been shown to be the leading indicators for maintaining a high quality of life and freedom of movement as we age; showing how important it is to build these patterns early. Come in to help your body feel its strongest and best as we build strength!

Zz has an extensive history in coaching and strength training. Her interest in the science of training began as a track and field athlete at Purdue University where she was a double major in Kinesiology and Organizational Leadership and Supervision.
Zz continued her education at the University of Montana with a Master's in Exercise Science. Throughout this time she worked as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach and completed research on prosthetic blade running mechanics. Her extensive knowledge in biomechanics and human physiology has earned her positions as the assistant director of sports performance for the University of Houston, Mississippi State University, University of Cincinnati, University of Notre Dame, University of Montana, Purdue University, and the Cincinnati Bengals.
She has experience coaching athletes from a variety of sports including football, cross country, track and field, cheerleading, golf, volleyball, soccer, ice hockey, softball, swimming and diving, basketball, and tennis.
Zz is an avid runner herself and trains for both half and full marathons. Along with an extensive training routine, Zz has her own run coaching business and is an assistant track and field coach at Centaurus High School.
